The Greater Miami & the Beaches Hotel Association Recognizes Hospitality Hourly Employees during its Twenty-Seventh Annual Inn Key Awards Event

 Raquel Ponce, Miami Airport Marriott and Marina Siminuic, Fisher Island Club won Outstanding Lodging Employee on the Year

Miami, FL (April 20, 2023) – The Greater Miami & the Beaches Hotel Association (GMBHA), a membership organization comprised of hoteliers and allied members across Miami-Dade County, presented its "Inn Key Awards" on April 20th, honoring 360 outstanding hourly employees of the various hotel departments. With over 700 guests in attendance, GMBHA’s President & CEO Wendy Kallergis and Chairman of the Board Matthias Kammerer presented the awards at the 27th annual program held at InterContinental, Miami.

The GMBHA’s Inn Key Awards were selected from more than 360 nominations from over 50 hotels and were evaluated by a panel of external judges related to the hospitality industry. This year’s “Outstanding Employee” Awards went to Raquel Ponce, Miami Airport Marriott and Marina Siminuic, Fisher Island Club. In addition, twenty-two winners from other hotel departments including Bellperson, Food & Beverage, Front Office, Roomkeeper, Security Officer, Recreation/Spa, Engineering, Culinary, Concierge, Administrative and Banquets were recognized.
